The days leading up to Halloween were nice however. Thursday was Downtown Lexington's trick-or-treating so of course we met up with Claire. Friday Ben went trick or treating with his day care class and wore his Barcelona Jersey but I did not get any pictures. Also on Friday we had daddy's last home soccer game of the season. I cannot believe it was here already.
Saturday, although I look scary enough, no I was not in costume, Booter and I just lied around the house all day while I felt miserable. There are several pictures below and on shutterfly!
Today was a great day and a good reminder of why I took a job to make $5 less an hour...nothing beats being with the family. This would have been my weekend to work but now instead I was off, we had a great breakfast at home and then went up 81 antique shopping and had lots of luck! We found a great Boston Rocker for a great price and these picture frames that I have been looking for for over 3 years! We may even go back for more finds, we just didn't want to rush into any large $$$ purchases. We ate out twice in one day and was fortunate enough to get to see Stuart, Katie and Daniel Freakley at the Waynesboro Target :) Here are a few pictures below and many more on shutterfly :)
Luckily we had this costume given to us by two of Ben's old players from Erskine...Batman! It could not have been any better!
Probably the best costume ever...that Ben insisted on wearing. By insisted we mean "more, more, more", his favorite word.
The scariest costume of all:
BEING DRESSED LIKE YOUR MOM!!!
This was just too funny. All of the parents were trying to get a team picture after the game, as was I, and look who just comes barging in the middle of it and about faces. At least everyone got a good laugh out of it!
