WEEKEND GETAWAY...FOR BOOTER

Booter is feeling all better so he decided to go on vacation to his grandparents house for a few days. Daddy took him to Williamsburg where Booter then met up with his grandparents for his adventurous weekend. (Daddy was at a tournament in Willamsburg for the weekend and this was my weekend to work). So he stayed away without either of us. I gave the grandparent the camera to take these wonderful pictures that are on shutterfly.

As you can see in the pictures he had a great time! His grandparents bought he and Daniel a new toy to play with at their house. It is a little stand up push toy to help them learn to walk. He also got a new tee shirt - which I now see thanks to the pics! I love it by the way, thanks Susan ; ) .  He got to play in the grass, sit on a statue...don't even think he knew it was one...he also got to hang out with some cured ham, ha! FUNNY!

This was his 3rd time away from me and it has gotten harder every time for me believe it or not! I missed the little rascal soooo much! Do you want to know what I did while my boys were gone (other than work)? I had Friday all to myself and my friends that I usually hang out with were either out of town or working, so after running errands I went to Ben's baby sitters house and learned how to knit! Man I have no life now. But knitting is always something I have always wanted to learn to do. Saturday night after eating out with a friend I was so excited... I had plans to watch Steel Magnolias!!! (for the first time)...I fell asleep 30 mins into it! And that is what I did. AWESOME hugh?!

The craziest thing about him being gone was that he slept through the entire night for one of his first times while he was gone!!! His dad and I were a little upset that he didn't do it for us. (yes, we have one of those kids that we are lucky if he only wakes up once.!..still). The kid does not want to miss anything.
