UPDATE

Hello everyone. Beginning tomorrow I have to work the next 4 days so I thought I'd drop a message before then. I have been off for the last 3 days just hanging out with the ole Booter. And it is a good thing because I am pretty sure our sitter would have fired due to little Ben's teething fritz's. Ya, he looks happy in the pictures, but boy let me tell you when that tooth starts hurting him he lets you know it! For those who do not know, he is cutting his second top tooth and it has been a doozie. Yesterday his temp rose to 101.1!! The highest I've ever seen it. I don't think there is anything else going on either on why his temp would be up. Nighttime has been rough too. He will wake up screaming and he will be hungry but it hurts him to take the bottle so then he is mad on top of hurting, and it is a bad combination. But it is getting so close to coming through!

Well, here is what we did while I was off:


Wednesday: Two weeks ago I started dropping B III off at dad's office then I go and have a lunch date with 3 of my friends. Then after lunch, I pick up B III and go to Haley's house (She also eats with us, and then picks up Her little one-Claire). We have wine, and the kids play! It is actually very entertaining. I didn't have my camera, I had actually left the diaper bag at the house- I had actually grabbed the trash instead! HA! Thursday: Trip to Walmart, which I always dread. I looked like crapola too and of course I ran into someone who I had not seen in ages, who is also a mom and always manages to look good! Then, to be honest I was lazy all day and I loved it!


Friday: Little Ben did the impossible and took a 2 1/2 hour nap! He had just had one of his teething fits, I managed to get 3 oz of formula in him, then gave him some tylenol and the homeopathic teething pills. Then I did something we have not done in 3 months. We put him in his swing, which used to be his favorite. But he has out grown it so we now use it to throw all his toys in (we really do not know what to do with it. I guess we could break it down and put it in the basement). He went to sleep happy and woke up happy! So mommy was happy! I used that time to print and change a bunch of pictures around the house. Cute, cute!


Then, since Ben was well rested and in a good mood I invented a game called "Crawl Camp" and we did that for a little. I use my pilates mat for him to try to crawl on because it is very grippy. But he still like the commando crawl. I guess when he is ready he is ready. Then we did the usual routine. Tonight was Booter Bath time. Then we put him in new jammies that his Abuela sent (my mom).
