SOME UPDATES:

I intended to post this earlier...like days ago but I have to do this while at work (and not supposed to be on the internet while at work, shhhh) and work got crazy so I never finished. But I need to post this before I post his birthday party!!!

As you can see in the previous blog, Little Ben just turned one!

He has been quite a character lately especially since he has discovered that when he walks slowly, instead of sprinting, he actually makes progress, finally! It is sad though because he is so busy getting into things that he never wants to be held (even less than before). And although he has not quite mastered walking he has mastered climbing! In droors that he pulls out, up stairs/down stairs, the bottom of his stroller...really just into anything imaginable. Also, he has really developed a personality. He lets you know when he wants something and is very persistent until he gets it. And like his father, he loves being the center of attention. If he knows he is making you laugh he will sit there and keep doing it, then he will stop and grin (almost teasing you) and then he will do whatever it is again until you laugh. Also, has actually able to repeat 2 real words-hi and ball!

His 1 year check up:

His head is now even bigger, measuring at 49 cm (98th percentile!)
Height: 29 1/4 inches (25th percentile)
Weight: 21.4 lbs (25th percentile) little guy! Well, at least he can go forward facing in the car now!

He is also now off formula (darn) and onto whole milk, yummy! He likes it alright I guess. The good news is that it did not constipate him like everything else I tried to switch him on...bad news is that his poo now really stinks it up and the stink, it lingers for hours.
