Hi guys!....still no battery for the camera. Long story, but I'm getting it soon :)
Lots has been going on here. Freakley Brother Will has been home from Iraq for R&R, so 2 weekends ago the entire immediate Freakley Family came to Lexington to hang out together since Ben's VMI Soccer team was hosting a tournament. For those who do not know the family here is a run down of who was here: Ben Sr and wife Susan. 2nd brother in line; Stuart and wife and 14 month, old Daniel (the cute little blonde hair bright blue eyed baby in lots of the pictures). Then 3rd brother Will and wife Cait, and then Sam and Drew. All here, so so fun! We cooked out watched football and soccer and I finally, for the first time, believe it or not, got to have Katie's Nacho taco dip stuff-yum yum. They have the recipe posted on their blog FYI. Will looks and is doing great. I was nice to get to see him again :)
Then normal work week as usual. Sort of, I'm still in the ED until tomorrow and then the days I'm usually off I have been doing my new job as a school nurse-which I am absolutely loving by the way!
Friday I got off work early and Ben III and I drove up to Woodstock. We hung out at Great Grandmother and Daddy's for an hour or so then went to play with Daniel, Katie and Stuart. We all went out to eat once Susan and Ben got in and then went to the local high school football game. As usual, B III was more interested in walking up and down the big hill, socializing with strangers and playing in the dirt than just sitting on a blanket with mom so she could relax. But then...it was marching band time! That had both the boys dancing...Ben was a little pooped by then (since it was an hour past his bedtime) so he opted to dance while lying down on his back. Then I left bright and early to work the weekend, leaving Ben in the hands of Ben Sr and Susan to babysit; but not just Ben this time, they had Daniel too! Husband Ben was with the soccer team playing in New Jersey and New York over the weekend, with 2 sad unlucky last minute losses :(
So that is what we have been up to. I just have 2 more days of officially calling myself and ER nurse :( and then I will just be known as Mrs Melissa the school nurse for a while! (With an occasional ER day. I cannot give it up completely).
Baby in the belly is doing great. Moving lots and hic-upping lots. He (so I think it will be another he) really likes is when mommy eats. He/she gets excited :)
We will be in touch soon!
